WHO I AM
WHAT I DO
WHERE I'M GOING
I live and teach in rural Southeast Iowa. I grew up about 25 minutes from where I teach. I value family, hard work, creativity, and innovation. I see myself not only as an educator, but also as an artist, and an engineer.
I teach high school students to use evidence in order to critically think about the world around them and the natural processes that have shaped and continue to act upon our Universe, the Earth, and life.
I thrive on creativity and innovation, and will strive to help the people around me find their passions, and unleash their potential. The 21st Century is full of opportunity: I will work to help staff and students make the most of those opportunities.
